This project chronicles the archetypal firgure of the Plague Doctor, as she navigates life in the 21st century plague of COVID-19.
One of the main concerns that has gripped many of us in California is that food supplies may become scarce. Additionally, since we are under an urgent shelter-in-place ordinance, it is best to avoid public places such as grocery stores as much as possible. In light of this concern, increasing numbers of people are turning to baking their own goods, fermenting, canning, and other means used by generations past to prolong the life of what food stores were available to them.
